Day 107: A Lot More Trouble than It's Worth

I decided to sell a bunch of the kids old toys and clothes in a big consignment sale happening this weekend. For a while I've been gathering the toys into a huge box in my closet. The consignment sale is pretty high-tech, so I enter the item description and price into a bar-coding system and then I print the tags and attach them to my items. So I spent Wednesday night tagging most of the toys. I had already tagged the clothes, but those were easy! I finally got it all done at 11:00 p.m. (Ed fell asleep downstairs on the couch) and hauled two big boxes of toys out to the car, all ready to deliver on Thursday night. In the end, the most I can net for this sale will be $187.00. The real total will likely be closer to $100. (I marked all of my stuff to be offered at the half price sale.) In the end, that amount of money is just not worth the hassle. It's easier to just give it all away.

Dinner:
Popcorn shrimp, corn, grapes
Ed worked late, so I decided to save the tacos for tomorrow night. The popcorn shrimp was quick and easy, although not very healthy. William said he wanted corn, but then he didn't eat very much. He ate all of his shrimp though. Seth ate a few bites of shrimp, no corn, and a few grapes. They split an ice cream sandwich for dessert.
