Day 14: Playing at Home

I finally caught both boys playing with the play kitchen that Santa brought for Seth. Santa went through a LOT of effort to find the perfect play kitchen for Seth. Not too big, not too small. Not too expensive. Not feminine, not plastic. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, oven, sink. Seth's reaction? Meh. It's okay. He plays with it every once in a while. Today I gave him some dry pasta to put in the pots and pans, and both he and William had fun with it. For about 10 minutes. Good thing I had the camera out!

Dinner:
Ribs, coleslaw, baked beans, and corn bread
Ed cooked dinner, and we sat down to eat a little after 6:00 p.m. I made broccoli for the boys since I knew they wouldn't eat coleslaw. Seth ate broccoli and corn bread. William ate a few bites of broccoli and a few bites of ribs. But he wasn't very hungry. He had eaten a big snack at around 4:15, so I figured he wouldn't want to eat a lot. He was hungry after his bath, though, but Ed had already cleared his plate. So he ate a piece of bread and drank some milk while I read him his stories.

Cute! I see you can't quite get them to keep stuff in the cabinets either. (Maybe they're about to clean up.)

Cute pic of the boys together. Seth looks so tall to me here! I keep forgetting you have TWO blogs now! I am trying to keep up! :)

Don't you just love that? Search high and low for the perfect gift and little reaction. Loving your blog and your dinner postings - happy to see Kaitlyn is "normal" when she is picky or not hungry most of the time too!
