Day 9: William

Since I featured Seth yesterday, I'm featuring William today. I captured his evening from the time we got home to the time he went to bed. The pictures I took at dinner and bath didn't turn out so well, so I didn't include those. But the gist of his evening is here: Play with trucks, play with cars, play with vacuum (?), do nebulizer, smile for the camera right before bed.

Dinner:
Steak (top round), boiled new potatoes (with parsley and butter), green beans
I remembered to put the steak in the marinade this morning before we left. And we got home right at 6:00 p.m., so I immediately started the potatoes and put the steak under the broiler. It was a thick steak, so I cooked it about 14 minutes on one side and about 12 on the other. I nuked the green beans, and had dinner ready to go eat at 6:45. While I cooked, William played with his cars and trucks and Seth stood at the counter and scooped goldfish from a bowl and dumped them into another bowl and then played with hummus (check my other blog for pictures). William was hungry on the way home and ate a few leftover grapes and half a cereal bar from breakfast in the car, and then had a few goldfish when we got home. So I figured he wasn't really hungry. So I asked him if he wanted to eat first or do his nebulizer first. He chose the nebulizer. So we finally sat down to eat at a little after 7:00. Ed came home while we were eating so he joined us. Seth mostly ate green beans and some string cheese I cut up for him. William ate most of his steak and green beans. Neither boy ate the potatoes. We also ate in the dining room, instead of the kitchen. But this time, the TV was off.
