We visited the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center today, just the boys and me. They had a great time, and William got to see his current obsession up close and personal. (This is the Space Shuttle Enterprise.)
I hadn't realized that my camera battery was low when I took it with me, so I couldn't use my flash. But this picture is the only one that turned out well. (By well, I mean not blurry!)
Dinner:
Schnitzel with green beans and dinner rolls
For those who don't know, schnitzel is basically pork chops pounded thin, breaded, and fried. I think authentic schnitzel is supposed to made with veal. But whatever. I made the schnitzel when I got home (Ed had pounded the pork chops for me) and the kids ate it up! Seth ate every bite on his plate, and he usually doesn't eat a whole lot of meat. William ate all of his, and right before bed, he said he was still hungry. So we went back downstairs, and he ate half of a big piece. I've never seen him eat that much! Schnitzel will definitely become a staple in our menu rotation now.

I love to make schnitzel!! I have made it with veal, pork and turkey and it's always a BIG hit. My new favorite thing is to serve it with either asparagus or mushroom risotto. So yummy!!
Love the pic of the boys with the space shuttle as well.
Yay for a GREAT day!!
