Day 34: More Snowy Fun

I love this picture, and I'm sure if I knew how to edit digital photos (and if I had the software), I could make the colors look good. But that's okay--it still captures the joy of playing in the snow.

Dinner:
Beef and Butternut Squash Chili with corn bread
I've been wanting chili for a long time, but since Ed and William don't like it, there doesn't seem like much reason to make a whole pot. Since today is the Super Bowl, I decided I'd make a pot anyway and see if Seth likes it. Seth didn't like it. But I thought it was great. So William ate broccoli, leftover fried chicken, and some pepperoni. Seth ate a few bites of corn bread, a few bites of broccoli, and shredded cheese.And now I have a LOT of chili to eat over the next week. Guess I'll freeze half of it and pull it out for lunches next month.
