Day 37: Classic Toy

I pulled out the Colorforms today--the original classic set that they first started making in 1951. I got it a long time ago (great sale on Amazon), but was never sure if William would really be into it. He loved it! And I was surprised that it kept Seth occupied for quite a while, too. Definitely a great activity for a snowy, windy day.

Dinner:
Parmesan chicken nuggets with broccoli
These chicken nuggets were sooooo good. Seriously very good. I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs and just added the Parmesan cheese. And I drizzled with the leftover butter, although in all honesty, that was just overkill. I think that once you have the nuggets breaded, you could flash freeze them and throw them in a bag in the freezer and have them for a quick weeknight dinner. I'll definitely do that next time. Both boys cleaned their plate, including their broccoli. Seth has issues actually sitting down to eat now. He usually ends up in my lap, all up in my plate and my business. But if I strap him in his booster seat, he goes nuts, and doesn't end up eating anything. We'll have to work on it. Anyway, we ate at 6:30, and they both ate an ice cream sandwich for dessert!

I am so glad you liked them. I made them when I had a dinner guest over and they were a big hit!! I followed the recipe except I didn't use garlic salt and I drizzled olive oil on the top since I didn't have any extra garlic butter left. I have passed this recipe on to several friends and it is always a big hit! Enjoy!!
