Day 81: Fashion

I hosted a jewelry party a few weeks ago and was blown away when I "earned" $290 in free jewelry. I was like a kid in a candy shop picking out necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Prior to now, I have never been a jewelry person. I don't have a good eye for accessorizing, nor do I have the money to spend on extras like jewelry, and up to now, it's been enough to just make sure my shoes match and I don't forget my deodorant. But all that has changed. I think I wore a necklace and different earrings and even a bracelet a few times every day last week. Here's what I wore yesterday (Friday). It's a lame picture, but at least I took one!

Dinner:
Sirloin steak, asparagus, crescent rolls
I marinated the steak in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and Montreal steak seasoning, and put it under the broiler. We ate around 6:50 p.m. William ate all of his dinner (minus the crescent roll) really quickly. Seth didn't eat anything. He was also falling apart during dinner so I ended up taking him upstairs to get ready for bed at 7:15. He's so much better, but still pretty wiped out.

That is super cute! How fun - I'm so glad you got the opportunity to "play" with accessories; you deserve some glamour! :)
