William convinced two 8-year-old girls to play with him today. First they played on the path behind our house, the girls riding a bike and a scooter, and William riding his 3-wheeler. Then they played on the playground for a while. They pushed William on the swings and then they played "bump" on the slide. William had the best time. And the girls could not have been sweeter.
They even let Seth join in the fun.
Dinner:
Pepperoni calzones and strawberries
I made the dough in the bread machine and it was super easy. I ended up adding a bit more water to get the right consistency, and I used quick rise yeast, so I wasn't sure how that would affect it. But it was fine. When the machine finished, I wrapped the dough in plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray and put it in the fridge. When I took it out later, it didn't seem very elastic, but it rolled out fine and was actually easier to work with than most pizza dough. I split it in half and made pizza with one half for the boys (William said he wanted pizza, not calzones), and four calzones for Ed and me. While I was making the pizza, both boys ended up snacking on pepperoni and cheese, so neither one ended up eating very much of the pizza. But such is life. I was just glad to see Seth eating!

I think you have 2 ladies men at Casa Hahn! How sweet that they played with them and taught them the bump. Something tells me you are going to see this game again.
yum to dinner! I have started making a pizza bread using the frozen roll dough that can be customized due to what we like(and yes frozen in batches at time).
Those are really sweet pictures. :)
I love the last one of all four of them on the slide.
And wanted to say GOOD FOR YOU for putting yourself out there. I find it hard to put my photos out there bc I am afraid of criticism.
